DE Remains #1 from Coast to Coast with Over $2.4 Billion in Total Sales in Florida and $22 Billion in Total Sales Nationwide


On Friday, March 18, Jay Phillip Parker and Gus Rubio, CEO & COO of Douglas Elliman’s Florida Brokerage, hosted the firm’s agents and employees from across South Florida for the first annual Florida Ellie awards celebration luncheon, held at Cecconi’s Miami Beach at the Soho Beach House. Recognizing the top agents in the brokerage, Douglas Elliman concludes 2015 with a Florida sales volume increase of 101%, totaling $2.4 billion in total sales, and remains number one for total dollar volume since 2013. Also in attendance were Douglas Elliman’s top executives, Dottie Herman, President and CEO, Nicole Oge, Global Chief Marketing Officer and Jeff Hummel, Chief Technology Officer.

The Florida Brokerage of Douglas Elliman additionally welcomed more new agents in 2015 than any other firm in South Florida growing to over 700 agents across its continued expansion throughout Palm Beach, Wellington, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, The Miami Design District, Aventura, Miami Beach, Coconut Grove and Brickell. Douglas Elliman is recognized as the number one brokerage in Miami Beach and among the top four brokerages nationwide.

Earning the award for number one Team by Gross Commission Income (GCI) in Florida was The Chad Carroll Team, led by Chad Carroll of the Miami Beach office. Taking home this year’s number one Individual prize based on GCI was Pablo Alfaro of the Miami Beach office.

Rounding out the awards for Top Teams by GCI were The Oren Alexander Team (#2), Senada Adzem and Chris Leavitt Team (#3), The Goihman Team (#4) and The Bill and Bryan Team (#5).

Additional Top Individuals by GCI were Nicola Higgins (#2), Erik Schneider (#3), Raul Santidrian (#4) and Kayce Driscoll (#5).

Capturing Florida’s Rookie of the Year title for 2015 was Cynthia King of Miami Beach office. The Florida Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Betsy Green from Palm Beach for career-long contributions to the business.

In the Palm Beach market, Chris Leavitt was named the number one Top Agent by GCI. Additional Top Individuals included Betsy Green (#2), Michael Harris (#3), Steve Davis (#4) and Ashley McIntosh (#5).

Earning first place for the Wellington market, Visse Wedell was named Top Agent by GCI. Additional Top Individuals included Kristina Lloyd (#2), Martha Jolicoeur (#3), Maria Mendelsohn (#4) and Mark Joseph Norman (#5).

In the Boca Raton market, earning the number one place for Top Agent by GCI was Senada Adzem Berbard. Additional Top Individuals included Pamela Fishman (#2), Steven Solomon (#3), John List (#4) and Tracy Roddy (#5).

In the Fort Lauderdale market, Nicola Higgins was named the #1 Top Agent by GCI. Additional Top Individuals included Melanie Kimpton (#2), Juan Noriega (#3), Allen Peachell (#4) and Gilbert Stockton (#5).

Chad Carroll was named Top Agent by GCI for the markets of Aventura, Miami and The Miami Design District. Additional Top Individuals included Richard Goihman (#2), Jeff Morr (#3), Bohdan Mastykaz (#4) and Dean Bloch (#5).

In the Miami Beach market, earning the number one place for Top Agent by GCI was Oren Alexander. Additional Top Individuals included Pablo Alfaro (#2), Raul Santidrian (#3), Kayce Driscoll (#4) and James Bryan (#5).

In the Coconut Grove & Brickell markets, Mariana Niro was named the number one Top Agent by GCI. Additional Top Individuals included Mario Neto (#2), David Kurz (#3), Hilda Jacobson (#4) and Ysha Arteaga (#5).

Earning the number one place for Top Commercial Agent in Florida was Francis Clougherty. Additional Top Commercial Agents recognized included (#2) Mitash Kripalani and Fred Botwinik (#3).
